Review: MAC Pro Longwear Foundation

Hi guys! I got a request to review this MAC foundation. *Disclaimer: I`m not sponsored by any companies including MAC! Picture used is from Google Image Search and provided uploader!!!*
Finding the right foundation can be a difficult task. Especially when you`re very pale like myself. Like most girls, when I started wearing makeup I wore drug store foundation. For the longest time I refused to pay the money for a "department store" brand. But after using nearly EVERY brand you could get at the drug store, and not finding the right shade or formula, I decided to start researching more expensive brands. So after much research, I decided to try MAC. Yet, I didn`t know what foundation by MAC I should go for. I logged on to their website where you can take a sort of "quiz" to figure out which formula is the best match for you. After going through the quiz, I was given a couple choices, the only liquid foundation being Pro Longwear. (If you`re thinking about getting MAC I highly recommend doing what I did!!) After researching online, I decided to go to my closest MAC counter to be matched. (Also recommend that!) Pro Longwear is offered in TONS of shades. After trying this product out for a few weeks now I can honestly say that I LOVE it. It is probably the best foundation I`ve used. The only problem I`ve had is my skin has been a little flaky lately and wearing foundation DOES NOT help that problem. (This is not the foundations fault, it`s just my problematic skin type!) This specific foundation has a bit of a thicker formula, and even after one application it has wonderful coverage. To apply it, I put two pumps on the back of my hand, (ONLY TWO PUMPS FOR MY WHOLE FACE!! LOVE!) And I apply it to my face with a CLEAN Real Techniques Expert Face brush by dabbing it all over my face Then going back with a circular buffing motion. This creates the best coverage and concealment for me! I`ve found that I really don`t need a concealer when using this foundation. I always set my foundation with a powder!! I`ve been using the Dream Matte foundation by Maybelliene but if you don`t need an extra layer of color or coverage, shoot for a setting powder. They usually look white but when applied they`re translucent. (Try Make Up Forever HD Microfinish!) So all in all, I rate this foundation a 10 out of 10! If you`re thinking about MAC but you`re not really sure, go to the MAC counter, have them apply it to you, and if you still aren`t sure, ask for a sample! I hope this review helps you on your foundation finding journey! Have any questions? Leave them in the comments. :)
