I bought the L`oreal True Match foundation this week and thought I would make a review on my thoughts.
This has many colors available, but when I got it in Walgreens many were sold out. I kind of knew this wouldn`t match cause I`ve been in the sun a lot lately so I have a (very ugly) tan. I got this in W2 Light Ivory.
This could match me if I didn`t have a tan, but not right now. However, this was the closest possible I could find! All of the other colors looked too orange, or too dark.
Anyways, in terms of texture and feel on the skin I do like this. It feels like it blends well in the skin. The coverage is medium. It is a little buildable, but from what I can tell it gets cakey if you build it too much. Have to be careful.
Aside from the color not being the best for me (I mix it with another foundation to make it better), I find that this gets too matte for combination to dry skin (which mine is). It has a matte finish, so it does get a little flaky on my drier spots.. but for people with combination to oily this must be really nice for them.
I might try to get another one of this foundation in a tone a bit darker than my skintone to mix them together, which might work better. But yes, good foundation. Still prefer my MAC Studio Sculpt, but this is good for drugstore!
*photo by me (my arm spends a lot of time in the sun, so it`s quite darker than my face (which I put spf 30 everyday), so the color is not that much lighter!*
