Hi everyone! It`s been a really long time since I`ve written a review, so here`s one on a relatively new product that has become one of my go-to products for looks.
Price & Availability - $6-8 depending on where you buy - Available where L`Oreal products are sold
Shade & Finish - Bronzed Taupe is a pretty accurate name for it: it`s a brown shade with a taupe-y undertone - Frost finish
Packaging - Plastic pot and lid - Comes with a plastic presser inside (picture #4) that is NOT to be thrown away
How I apply - I normally do not like applying eye products with my finger, but I will for this product. Works with a brush as well, but the finger may be better
Pros - Widely available - Relatively slim packaging - Gorgeous color, even if it`s not particularly unique - Pigmented - Easy to blend - Lasts all day over a primer
Neutrals - Relatively pricey for a drugstore product, but it`s much cheaper compared to products like the Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill shadows - May be better to use your fingers than a brush (only a neutral for those of you who are particular about how you apply products, like me) - Color may be too frosty for some
Cons - None really, unless the Neutrals bring it down for you
Thoughts This was of course the color I was immediately drawn to when this product was initially released and it is probably one of my favorite colors out of my neutral collections. It`s bronzey but doesn`t pull too orange or red, so it doesn`t make my eyes look crazy. I love the frosty finish to it as well. Bronzed Taupe is particularly pigmented, so a little goes a long way and it blends into other colors very nicely. I don`t love that it`s better to use your fingers with this product, but if you have the patience to get it to work with a brush then more power to you.
Overall If you`re a neutral nut then this color will probably be right up your alley. I wouldn`t buy this at full price, but it`s a good product to get if you can get it on sale/with coupons.
