Hi everyone! It`s been a while since I`ve written a review, but that`s what happens when life happens. I definitely try to use the products bought, but taking pictures of swatches and everything can be a little time consuming.
Price & Availability - $8 to $10 depending on where you buy - Available wherever L`Oreal products are sold
Shade & Finish - Iced Latte is a frosty gold-tinged cream/white shade
Packaging - A plastic pot with plastic lid - Inside the pot is a plastic damper (picture #4) that says DO NOT DISCARD
How to apply - It`s sort of interesting in texture: it`s definitely not a cream but it`s not your typical powder shadow either - Very smooth and velvety - You can use a brush, but I find it`s better to use your fingers
Pros - Widely available - Wide range of shades - This shade is super pigmented - Blends well - Long lasting over a primer - Supposedly a dupe in texture for the Armani Eyes to Kill eyeshadows
Neutrals - Color is not particularly unique - Works better with fingers (I personally prefer using brushes)
Cons - Relatively expensive for a drugstore eyeshadow, but cheap if you`re looking for Armani dupes
Thoughts I was a little hesitant to get Iced Latte because there is really nothing special about an icy cream shade, but after seeing KaraElkins7 use it in an eyeshadow tutorial on YouTube, I figured it would be a nice addition to my collection. This shade was bought at Bed, Bath and Beyond where it was a couple dollars cheaper than it would be at the drugstores, and I had a $1 off coupon so it made the price a little more bearable. As far as I know, Target and Walmart will have these products at the cheapest price. (Target sells these for $6.99). This particular shade is really beautiful on the lid and if you love super shimmery brow bone/tear duct highlights then you would probably love this. The only problem I have with this shadow is it applies better with fingers than it does with a brush. I really prefer using brushes when it comes to applying eye makeup for the control and evenness, but if you work slowly and gradually build up then you can probably achieve good results.
Overall This color is not particularly unique, so if you have something similar I wouldn`t get this shade. However, if you LIKE neutrals and want to try out this product for it`s unusual texture then try it out. Thanks for reading! Have you tried any of these Infallible shadows yet?
