I recently finished my Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine, and decided my review of this product (which is different from most people`s opinions) was warranted by now. I`m glad I tried this, cause otherwise I would`ve always wondered (lol), since it`s such a cult favourite, but I honestly don`t think lip butters are for me (since the best one on the market didn`t cut it for me).
... the lid (pretty and simple)
... the scent (smells delicious!)
... the texture (very soft and smooth to apply)
... the size (easy to travel with or stick in your purse)
I don`t like...
... the price (not worth it to me personally!)
... the hydration (it didn`t do enough for my lips if they were dry)
... the colour (its a gorgeous colour, just didnt show up on me at all)
... the packaging (not very hygienic unless you carry a lip brush everywhere)
Overall, I won`t be spending my money on this product in the future. I think I have very dehydrated lips so I personally need super heavy moisturizing, and if that`s there, this product maintained it. Once I realized I didn`t like it I took it out of my morning routine and put it in my makeup bag so that I could just use it for touch-ups. I didn`t end up liking it for that because it wasn`t hydrating enough and it felt dirty to put my fingers in a pot (even if I sanitized).
Who does this work for then?
I think this product would work for you if: you don`t have extremely dry, chapped lips, if you don`t have pigmented lips, if you`re looking for something for your purse and don`t mind the pot, if you have disposable income, and if you want something very sheer and neutral for work/school.
I don`t think this product is a total fail, it can work for some people (and obviously does), but it just didn`t work for me. Hope you enjoyed the review or at least found it informative. Happy Luuuxing!
