Review: Kiss Nail Dress

In my Love VoxBox from, I received a box of the stickers for the tips & toes in the design KDS10, which is a very cute leopard print design. You can purchase this product for $6.99 at various drugstores and mass retailers such as Walmart and Target.
PRODUCT CLAIMS: Introducing Kiss Nail Dress, ultimate nail fashion for tips and toes! Just peel, apply, and shape for a manicure that lasts up to 10 days. On in minutes, off in seconds without remover
PACKAGING: Each box comes with 28 nail strips total of different sizes. Also included in the box is a pamphlet that shows all the available designs. A mini nail filer is also included, with one side being pink (less course) and the blue side being more course.

Fold down over the edge and file away the excess You may use these strips for both your nails and your toes! If using for your nails, apply the rounded side towards your cuticle. If using for your toes, apply the squared side at your cuticle.
REVIEW: I was initially very excited to try this Kiss Nail Dress nail stickers because they reminded me of the Sally Hansen Instant Nail Effects, which is a few dollars more expensive. I really like the variety of fun designs that these Kiss ones come in - they`re great for if you want to have a fun design on your nails but don`t have time to get them done. Unlike the Sally Hansen ones, I like that these do not smell like actual nail polish. While these are pretty once they are on the nails, I find that the application process is too difficult and quite annoying. It is somewhat hard to find a good match for your nails because these strips are not individual pieces, but are instead are together on a clear, plastic strip. Also, I find that you CANNOT fold the excess strips hanging from your nails and somehow rip them off. This actually stretches the nail strip and ruins the design towards the edges. Unlike the Sally Hansen ones, which are easy to rip off once you fold it over, these ones required a scissor in order to remove the excess strip hanging off the nails. After that, you would have to use the included file to file down the edges, which still left it quite jagged.
OVERALL, I`m not as impressed with these as I had hoped to be. As for the claim to last 10 days? I find that to not be true... In fact, a few of the strips came off within 3-4 days. The application process of these were just a hassle to me and I find that it wasn`t such a quick and easy process. The edges were still left jagged even after filing and the strips did not smooth down as evenly. On the positive side, I do think that they have some really adorable designs! Would I repurchase? No, probably not. strong>DISCLAIMER: I was sent a box of the Kiss Nail Dress in KDS10 by Influenster as a part of the `Love` VoxBox but in no way does that compromise the honesty and integrity of my thoughts and opinions. I was not paid for this review.
