I was at Costco with my mom one day, and I saw this tall box for Kirkland Daily Facial Cleansing Towelettes. I`ve been wanting to try some facial cleansing wipes to use on days I`m just too tired to wash my face, or on days when I`m traveling. I figured it would also be good for me because it contains Chaomile, Triple Tea Complex, and Vitamin E. A box contains 150 pre-moistened towelettes for $16.99. So I decided to pick one up and try it out.
- towelettes are pretty moist (not like other brands where some are dried out)
- packaged into smaller containers so I can travel with them
- smells nice
- textured cloths which helps with light exfoliation
- good size cloth
- not made for the eye area
- not good for those with sensitive skin
- caused an allergic reaction
- does not completely remove makeup
Thoughts: If you have sensitive skin, like I do, I suggest you stay away from this product. This has caused an allergic reaction to my skin which made my face sting and peel. I ended up using this for spot cleaning my brushes and my mirrors, and in cleaning swatches or foundation that I pump on to my hand. This stays far far away from my face.
My Verdict: The only pros I found for this are all superficial. The actual performance of the product is frustrating, to say the least. It took me a long time to use up all the towelettes just because I didn`t want to simply throw them away. That would`ve been a total waste of money. I would not recommend this product.
Has anyone else tried this product?
