**PICTURE IS MINE, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE**
Hey guys, so i want to review the John Frieda Full Body Full Repair Shampoo. I bought this shampoo last year from Superdrug and it retails for £5.59 which i think is a little expensive for a 250ml tube. Ive been using this shampoo for over a month now so i think that thats enough time to review it. This shampoo claims to:-
"With Inca Inchi, a lightweight micro-oil rich in omega-3, this formula repairs the look and feel of overworked hair and adds body for full, flowing styles. Detangles strands, reducing the risk of breaking and snagging while combing or brushing."
I have never heard of Inca Inchi oil so i was quite curious as to what benefit this oil would have to my hair. But i was quite excited that it contains Omega-3 which is great for achieving shiny hair. What really drew me to this shampoo is basically the name of it - Full Body Full Repair. I use a lot of heat styling on my hair and as my hair is quite fine, it gets damaged very easily and result in split ends a lot of the time. I knew at the same time of purchasing this shampoo that i know its not going to be some miracle worker shampoo and totally get rid of my split ends but i hoped that it would improve my hair a little.
This shampoo lathers really quickly which i really love and you dont really need to use a lot of product. This shampoo definitely gives me volume but it leaves a slight residue in the crown area of my head which i absolutely hate, even though i rinse my hair thoroughly. I can feel this residue when i am blow-drying my hair. I wish it wouldnt leave a residue on my crown area, or at all, as that is the area i would like more volume. Apart from this negativity, i have noticed that my hair is softer which could be down to the Inca Inchi oil. Here are my Pros and Cons:-
Contains Inca Inchi oil rich in Omega-3
Lathers up really well
Does provide volume
Have noticed my hair is softer
Is available at all drugstores and supermarkets
Has a strong perfumey scent which some people may not like
Is a little expensive for a 250 ml tube
Leaves a residue in my hair
Does not detangle my hair
Has not reduced breaking or snagging of my hair whilst combing or brushing
OVERALL RATING: 3 out of 5
I do like this shampoo as it does give me volume and clean my hair really well but i just wish it wouldnt leave a residue in my hair and i wish it would reduce breaking and snagging of my hair whilst brushing or combing as i think that is one of the main reasons why i get a lot of split ends. I dont think that i will repurchase this shampoo in the future.
I hope that you enjoyed this review and found it helpful.
