Review: Eskinol Facial Cleanser

For around $3 - $5 a bottle (225mL), I`m astounded by how well this product takes out the dirt, pollution, and makeup off my skin. This is an Asian product, particularly from the Philippines. I am from there so I kind of grew up with this since my mother and grandmother used to use it a lot when I was little. All you have to do is despense the product on a cotton ball/pad and apply it on your face and neck. It leaves my skin smooth, fresh, and lovely! I can`t emphasize how much dirt it takes out of your skin! After a long day being exposed to the wonderful dirty air of Earth, the cotton ball I use for this DOES turn brown, as nasty as that seems haha.

The downside of this is the amount of alcohol in it. (Ingredients: Water, Denatured Alcohol, Sorbitol, Parfum, PEF-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Menthol, Citric Acid, Menthol, Citric Acid, Benzalkonium Chloride). As we all know, it`s extremely bad to expose your skin to alcohol everyday since it can dry out your skin badly. I would seriously recommend using a good facial moisturizer if you end up using this.

Although in my experiences (I have normal skin, hardly any breakouts, little to no sensitivity), my skin did not react badly to this product. My whole family (including my cousins, grandmothers, etc. since it`s a fairly famous facial product in Philippines) and boyfriend have tried this and not a single horrible reaction has happened. Some reviews I`ve read said that this enhanced their face and helped them greatly with acne. It can also lighten up your face a little if you use it daily so I`d recommend using this on your body as well. In addition to that, please don`t use it on and around your eyes! It can sting, trust me.

If you have extremely sensitive or dry skin, I don`t think you should use this. Although if you have oily/normal skin, I think this would be a nice product for you! EMPHASIS, EMPHASIS ON THE WONDERFUL WAY IT TAKES OUT ALL OF THE DIRT IN YOUR PORES! Research on it more if you`d like, I know you`ll find others saying this as well. If you have any further questions, the comment box is there, I would love to explain some more! :)

I have the classic kind. There are others that involve papaya, cucumber, w/grains, etc.
