Review: eos lip balm (Lemon Drop)

I think EOS balms rose to fame because of Michelle Phan on Youtube. She used these on Youtube, and after that, they were all the rage. These were super popular and everyone owned them. I finally got myself one after a very long wait. I already have so many lip balms, I really don`t need anymore! I finally got one after my boyfriend told me to buy a lip balm after telling me that my lips were chapped -_-

Now on to the review!

Very very bulky. I don`t even bother putting it in my pocket. I actually don`t bring it along with me to places. I just leave it at home on my desk. Their lip balms are circular except for the bottom where it is flat so that it could stand easily on flat surfaces. EOS is engraved at the top. There is also this indent in the middle where you can put your thumbs to twist open the product. Stupid me- I tried lifting the top my very first time using this product! I at first never thought these were that cute... until they grew on me! The yellow is a light mustard yellow color.

This is not the best lemon smell out there. I prefer Burt`s Bees lemon product smells. After a while, I found that the lemon smell from my EOS balm faded? It didn`t smell like the day I first opened it.

My boyfriend bought this for me for like $3.29. Not overly expensive, but there are some cheaper lip balms out there.

I think this product is too hyped. It`s a bit heavy on my lips and it drags on my lips when I apply it. It feels waxy when I press my lips together. It doesn`t stay on forever and my lips still get chapped sometimes if I don`t drink a lot of water. It doesn`t even smell that great, to be honest. I prefer my Sugar chap sticks from Sephora way better, but they are expensive ($20 something). The only reason why I might repurchase in the future is because it`s really natural and doesn`t have a lot of bad chemicals in it.
