REVIEW: Whenever I browse around Marshalls, I always see a lot of Elizabeth Arden products and while I`m sure some of them work great, this toner was not one of them. This toner is meant for those with normal skin and claims to help refine skin as well as take off the last traces of dirt and makeup on the skin. To me, it is just a regular toner and doesn`t do much other than what it claims. It helps take off the remaining dirt and makeup off of my face, but my Clarisonic does an excellent job at that already. I don`t see any refining effects on the skin either. If you smell the toner, you can definitely smell the alcohol that is in this toner - which totally makes sense because denatured alcohol is the second ingredient in this toner. I don`t recommend this for dry skin because it will probably dry out your skin. Since this is such a boring toner, I decided to add generous drops of my pure /viz/review-tea-tree-oil (click for my review) which helped to get rid of the strong alcohol smell in this toner. In addition, adding tea tree oil in this also helps to treat and prevent blemishes/pimples since I do have acne-prone skin.
OVERALL, I do NOT recommend the Elizabeth Arden Normal Skin Refining Toner Lotion. I think it`s just a normal toner and doesn`t do much for the skin. I don`t recommend this for dry skin because denatured alcohol is the second ingredient in this toner.
