Review: e.l.f Studio High Definition Powder

This is a review from my beauty blog--my reviews tend to have a simple format for quick and easy reading for your convenience; I hope it helps!

So first off, e.l.f is a pretty good brand for the more health/animal/price conscious consumers. All of their products are:

(produce fewer allergic reactions)

(won`t contribute to acne)

(not tested on animals, cruelty-free, contains no animal derived ingredients)

Completely affordable
(prices range from $1-$21+; you can also usually find a promotional code for their website to use for even better deals)

Anyhow, on with the actual product review:
Price: $6.00
Rating: 3/5

+Finely milled loose powder
+Blends well
+Controls shine
+Doesn`t settle into creases
+Silky finish

-The obvious: this is a white-colored powder, so unless you`re fair-light skinned, this can make your skin tone look unnatural and ghostly
-Messy, messy, messy: Due to the extremely fine quality of the powder, its best factor is also its worst. I swear, opening the container is like setting off a flour bomb--it`s a cosmetic catastrophe, really. The product tends to get everywhere, which is very wasteful.

.The best way to try minimize the mess is to puncture 2-3 holes in the tape over the sifter cover instead of removing the entire tape.
.This powder would probably be better suited for combination to oily skin types since it can be a little drying on the skin.
