Review: e.l.f. Studio Blush in quotGotta Glowquot

The product that I am reviewing is the e.l.f. Studio Blush in "Gotta Glow".

You can purchase this particular blush and other e.l.f. Studio Blushes on the e.l.f. website or at selected Target stores where e.l.f. is sold. For 4.75 grams (0.168 oz) of product, you are only paying $3.

The e.l.f. studio blushes have their packaging reminiscent of NARS packaging without the rubber casing. Instead, e.l.f. studio blushes are in a black, plastic packaging. There is also a clear, plastic window that allows you to peek in and see the color of the blush. The product has a flip-cap, and once opened, there is a rectangular-sized mirror half the size of the lid.

The name is misleading because this particular shade is not actually a blush, but a highlight. The e.l.f. Studio Blush in "Gotta Glow" is a supposed dupe for the NARS blush in "Albatross". I do have NARS "Albatross" so I`ll do a comparison another time. My blush in "Gotta Glow" got shattered because I accidentally dropped it and I did press it back using rubbing alcohol, which is why it looks so crumbly. Although the product appears off-white in the pan, once applied onto the skin, you can actually see that it gives an off-white shade with golden shimmers. It is actually very pretty on fair to medium skin tones. For tanner to darker skin tones, I think this shade might appear sort of ashy-looking on the skin. I have read some reviews from people saying that this product isn`t pigmented straight out of the pan. However, since mine crumbled and I put it back together using rubbing alcohol, my product is actually VERY pigmented and I use such a gentle dab because otherwise, I would pick up too much product. "Gotta Glow" isn`t THE MOST finely milled product out there, but when applied to the skin, the product blends really nicely and gives a really nice, golden glow to the skin.

OVERALL, I rate the e.l.f. Studio Blush in "Gotta Glow" a B
For $3, I seriously cannot complain about this product. I have several other blushes from the e.l.f. studio line and I think that they are awesome! "Gotta Glow" has been my go-to highlight everyday since I am using it up and I have really been enjoying it. Once I finish with this product, I probably will not repurchase anytime soon since I will be using my NARS "Albatross" as a highlight next. If you are on a budget, I do highly recommend "Gotta Glow" as a highlight to give you a healthy, golden glow.
