I purchased these oil blotting sheets in my giant ELF (eyes lips face) haul (http://www.luuux.com/health-beauty/%E2%9D%A4my-massive-elf-eyes-lips-face-order-came-%E2%9D%A4). Each pack comes with 50 sheets and only cost $1. I was really skeptical at first because of the insanely cheap price, but I figured it didnt hurt to try them, so I got 2 packs.
Well, Ive been using them for a few weeks now and I think these will be a hit or miss for people, depending on what type of skin type you have. I think these would be great for those of you have a little bit of shine and oil. It definitely absorbs the oil off your face. However, I have combo skin and sometimes later in the afternoons, my face gets supper shiny and oily, so after using one sheet, it looks like I didnt use any at all. I usually go through two sheets (and occasionally 3 sheets). The first sheet gets completely absorbed, and most of the 2nd sheet does too. Ive used other blotting papers before where I only have to use one, but they cost around $6-8. I guess this ELF blotting sheet decent for the price, but Im hesitant about buying another one because I go through a pack really quickly and shipping on ELF is $7. If you do the math...that comes out to about the same price for a more expensive one that does the job better!
ELF claims it instantly absorb oil, minimize pores and mattify shiny skin. Woven texture eradicates shine and keeps skin matte for hours. Green Tea Extract helps re-texturize skin, masking facial imperfections. (http://ELF.com)

- does absorb a lot of oil
- mattifies skin for quite some time (but after you get all the oil off, which is 2-3 sheets)
- super cheap $1!!
- comes in a small pack so it`s great for carrying around in your purse!
- 50 sheets in a pacl
- 1 sheet doesn`t absorb all the oil off my face..I use 2-3 sheets each time
- $7 shipping...so probably not going to buy this (or at least by itself)
- Doesn`t minimize pore (which is one of it`s claims)
- Price: 5/5
- Minimizes pores: 1/5
- Mattify skin: 4/5
- Absorbs oil: 3.5/5
- Packaging: 4/5...small so it`s great to carry around in your purse
Repurchase: probably not. (this might be great for those of you with a SOME oil..not a LOT) If I have to use 2-3 sheets each time, Ill go through a pack in less than two weeks. I would have to order more onlineand shipping is $7.00. So if I have to wait about a week to receive the product, then pay $7 for a $1.00 item, its totally not worth it. Id rather spend $6-8 on Sephora blotting sheets! This is just my opinion based on my experiences with them.
So I guess these ELF Essentials Shine Erasers arent so essential after all! I wish they worked better, because their price is truly amazing!
Have you used these before? What did you think of them? Did they work for you?
Thanks for reading <3
