A quick review on e.l.f. blushes. I never really looked into elf products because I didn`t really trust cheap make up, even though a lot of the cheaper (well known) brands are daughter companies of bigger brands, I was still worried about the ingredients they used for the cheaper products.
Anyway as elf is pretty well known and recommended by a lot of people I decided to give it a try!
I will be revieuwing elf contouring blush & bronzing powder and elf cream blush in flirt.
The elf contouring blush & bronzing powder (in Blushed and Bronzea) comes in a very nars like package. The blush and bronzer are both very shimmery. The shimmers are gold which I prefer better than silver shimmers as gold gives you more of a natural glow whereas silver shimmers will make you look like a discobal (especially in photos).
-The colors work very well on a wide range of skintones.
-Good packaging, with mirror. (it doesn`t look cheap at all)
-Doesn`t last a long time on my face
-The bronzing powder color is too dark for my NC 20 skin
-The blush is so-so to me, I like other single blushes from elf better.
Overall I`d rate it a 3 out of 5
The elf cream blush in flirt is a sheer blush with no shimmers in it. It comes in a really nice glass like jar. I chose this fuchia bright pink color because fuchia suits all skin (under)tones.
- Blush lasts all day
- Very nice packaging
- A lot of product
- Is a pain in the butt to apply, the blush itself is from a gum like consistency (not creamy at all). I even had a hard time swatching it..
- Only small blush brushes are able to get by the product because of the small opening.
Overall I`d rate this product also a 3 out of 5
I`ll be continuing these quick reviews about different elf blushes so stay tuned! Like share and leave me a comment or question below!
Ps. I can also review higher end cosmetics if interested, let me know! :)
