The Aveeno website describes this as a "creamy cleanser with moisture-rich Soy extracts gently exfoliates to help improve skin`s tone and texture while salicylic acid, a proven blemish-fighting ingredient, works to clear up break-outs without over-drying, leaving skin soft, smooth and even-looking. This mild, oil-free, hypoallergenic formula won`t clog pores and is gentle enough for everyday use."
- the small beads are not painful (like other scrubs)
- smells good
- gentle enough for my sensitive skin
- never broke me out
- helps somehow keep my acne at bay
- has helped reduce the pigmentation from *new* break outs
- gentle enough for everyday use
- may cause redness right after use
Thoughts: I started using this back when I was in college (That was seriously 10 years ago. Yes, I`m THAT old. lol). At that time, I had really really good skin. I never wore any face makeup. Just eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick. But I got bored using the same things over and over again, so I decided to try other cleansers like St. Ive`s. Big mistake. I broke out in huge cysts! So I went back to this, and now everything is back to normal.
My Verdict: This will never leave my bathroom sink. This is a skin care staple for me, and I will buy this forever!
What scrub do you guys use?
If you`re looking for a good scrub, that works well with sensitive skin, try this one!
