"bring out your eye color with rich, contrasting color! pearlescent eyeliner defines your eyes with rich tones that make your eye color pop. built in sharpener ensures precise application, and color resists smudging and fading throughout the day." --Almay.com

Available in 4 colors for each eye color:

Black Pearl for Hazel

Brown Topaz for Blue

Purple Amethyst for Brown

Raisin Quartz for Green

These eyeliners are usually $7.99 at CVS but I bought it when it was on sale for $5.99 in January. In addition to the sale there was a $3 ECB promo and I had a $2/1 Almay coupon. So in theory it costs: $5.99 - ($3.00 ECB) - $2.00 = $0.99 (!!)
Initially I was thinking about getting eyeshadow from Almay but I decided to get eyeliner since I wanted to expand my eyeliner color collection. I`m glad the one for brown eyes is purple because I`m always tempted to get black liner but I don`t like buying too many of the same kind of makeup. I mainly use eyeliner on my top lid and not waterline.

- No sharpening required but does have a sharpener at the bottom (Pic #7)

- Goes on smooth with little to no tugging

- Color can be layered for a darker look (Pic #6)

- Pretty dark purple; kind of looks black unless in bright lighting

- Can be easily rubbed off and it`s not long lasting

Overall: I like this eyeliner. Since I don`t wear makeup often I can`t really say it lasts long so I may be wrong about it`s staying power but it always seems to fade towards the end of the day. This is not a vibrant purple so it`s good for those who wanna stray from black but don`t want to go too bright.
Repurchase? No. I like it but I don`t love it. This will last me a while but I`m still on the lookout for a great eyeliner.
