For my birthday last year, I was really in the mood to buy some new makeup. I`m a very lazy and low maintenance when it comes to makeup, and kind of cheap too lol. I prefer cream shadows because they`re easier to put on in the morning when I don`t have a lot of time, and you can put powder eyeshadows on top. I knew of the UDPP, but when I saw that it came in actual colours, I became very interested lol. I was more interested in the squeezy packaging opposed to the bottle with the wand since there would be less wasted product. The squeeze tube is more expensive by a couple of dollars; I purchased mine for about 21 dollars?
This UDPP comes in the original (no colour), Eden (nude matte), Greed (gold) and Sin (champagne). I got the one in Sin because I already had a gold cream shadow. It`s definitely quite a pinky champagne opposed to a more nude champagne. The colour is very gorgeous though and is very illuminating when worn alone.
Sin is VERY pigmented, so I had to be very careful when squeezing it out. I had to squeeze out the TINIEST little amount and it would still turn out to be too much lol. This makes it very cost effective, meaning you`ll never run out of it.
This product applies very smoothly and easily onto the eyelids. It goes on extremely pigmented, not sheer at all. There will be no need for layering it. When it dries down, it`s pretty much stuck there until you remove it. However, don`t rub your eyes lol. There will still be some transfer of the sparkle on your fingers if you rub your eyes, but it won`t be noticeable on your eyelids if you wear it on its own. When applying eyeshadow, it`s recommended to blend right away and know exactly what you`re doing. Once you apply your powder eyeshadows, they will be hard to move and blend after about half a minute. This is a good thing for a night out but you need to blend out right away.
The wear of this is fabulous. It stays on my eyes during the entire school day, which is about 8 hours, without looking faded at all. I`m sure it could survive much longer than 8 hours but I`ve never worn it that long. My eyelids are normal to slightly oily.
That`s it for the review. Thanks for reading!
