Review - Nivea Cleansing Wipes

Ever since I started using Cleansing Wipes for the gym, I actually cut back on using standard Liquid Makeup remover at home. It`s just so much more convenient to use Cleansing wipes!

So far, I`ve used Neutrogena, Ponds and now I just finished Nivea.

Here is a quick review on the Nivea Cleansing wipes.

Smell like a fresh breeze, which is refreshing after you wipe off your face.
Removes waterproof makeup which is a plus
Two sides - ridged one and a smooth one. The ridged one helps to gently exfoliate your face a bit. I find that the ridged side removes more makeup than the smooth side.
Doesn`t dry out your face after you use it.
You only need 1 side to clear your entire face of makeup.

Though it doesn`t dry out your face, it leaves a weird matte residue that I always wash off with clean water.
I really hate the packaging. The tape part comes off after 5 uses and at the bottom of the pack, there was almost no moisture left in the wipe, I had to rub so much to remove my makeup.

Overall, its not a bad cleansing wipe but I would solely use it for the purposes of removing makeup, not to clean my face and put skincare on top. I really got frustrated with the residue that it left behind.

The same complaint I had with this one was the same with the Pond`s one. They need to stop using the tape and put a cap on it. After a few uses, the tape stopped sticking and the wipes dry out really fast, rendering them useless.

This was also $5.99 on sale, which is the standard price for cleansing wipes.

I don`t know if I`ll buy it again, even though I love Nivea, I can`t get past the packaging. I need it to be travel-friendly and clearly it isn`t.

Hope that helps.
