Review - Laneige Brightening Sun Powder

4 years ago

Instead of powder foundation, this is what I use on my face after putting on BB cream.

The first photo is the powder I was going to throw out. Look how little was used after a year of using it every day!

The second photo is from when I bought the replacement 2 months ago.

Simply put, it`s a sunscreen in powder form. When you use it, it does not leave any color, it`s completely transparent.

SPF 50+++
It`s a sunscreen powder - every 2 hours, instead of rubbing sunscreen on your face, you just need to use this powder which is light weight and easier to apply over makeup
It has sebum control to prevent breakouts and acne
It looks like powder foundation, and includes a mirror.
It gives a nice matte look

They only give you two powder puffs, meaning you have to wash them quite frequently.
If you want coverage, this is not the product you want to use. It provides no coverage as it`s just transparent sunscreen powder.
It`s quite pricey - $35 USD
One small pact lasts you well over a year. However, the powder goes bad after 1 year. You`ll notice that the pact itself will start to crack.
Be careful not to drop this. If you drop it on the floor, the entire pact cracks and then you can`t use the powder.

Overall, I highly recommend this product to any girl who wants sun protection but doesn`t want to ruin their makeup. I found this to be a life saver.

The one thing I really hate about it is the fact that when you first put it on, you look like you have a lot of heavy powder foundation on. Only after 5 minutes, that it sets in and your skin looks normal.

Hope that helps.
