I have been buying Trader Joe`s Chocolate Macarons lately (one for each day of the week as a little dessert during lunch at work) and the plastic containers that the macarons are stored in are pretty sturdy to be tossed after just one use plus the box is clean! So what can I do with it? I thought I can rip the stickers/tags off and decorate the box to put receipts or photos in it or something.
This is my first box that I made which is really self explanatory to make. I just measured the box and used floral paper to decorate the lid/bottom. Then I added some pink words for my name (which I bought from Big Lots for only .25 cents)! And tah-dah, I got myself a recycled container that I can use to store receipts or photos on my desk and it`ll look cute and creative.
Do you reuse sturdy containers or boxes? Or re-purpose them too? Another idea is you can use the box and decorate the lid to give as a gift and skip the lining inside and make homemade cookies to give to a friend/family member.
