Hair Type: Very Fine, Normal/Dry
The L`Oreal EverCreme Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner contain no harsh salts, parabens or heavy waxes that will weigh down fine hair textures. This product is 100% vegan and is formulated with Omega-3 and 6, and natural botanicals such as camelina, grape and apricot seed oils to
nourish the hair and leave it feeling soft and shiny.
I wanted to try this out because I have found that the sulfates in shampoos dry out my hair, to the point where my strands feel quite brittle and stiff to the touch. The first time I used the bottle I didn`t close the cap all the way and I left the product side-ways in the shower, which resulted in massive spillage and waste. After I used the shampoo and conditioner, my boyfriend had commented that my hair felt soft, silky, and smelled like fresh herbs. However, on the second day my hair felt unusually grimey and oily, and I noticed that tiny cotton fibres from clothing would transfer and stay in my hair. I noticed that in the shower, the product foams and lathers up in the palms of my hands very nicely, despite being sulfate-free, which means I end up using less of the product. In the future I will probably not re-purchase this item, and try out other products that will better satisfy my needs. Particularly, I want to find something that is organic, natural, paraben-free, sulfate-free and that will give my hair more volume and thickness. I want to try and get my hands on the the Big Liquid Shampoo from LUSH since it`s made from fresh seaweed and citrus juices. I`ve seen many positive reviews, but its pricey. For all those who are concerned about toxins, but are unwilling to dish out an exuberant amount of money on a shampoo, I would say give this one a try because it may work for your specific hair type, and it is very affordable and accessible.
