Did you know that Apple earphones have a one year warranty? I didn`t know until a few weeks ago when I bought my MacBook Pro -- the question arose when I asked if they had the apple earphones in stock because mine are broken, the sales associate told me if it`s been less than a year from purchase you can get a replacement for free under the one year warranty! Free? Why not right?! All you need to do is schedule a appointment with Apple at the Genius Bar online. I scheduled an appointment and came in the next day. Just so happens the sever was down so the wait was an additional 15 minutes but that was no biggy. My experience? It was real easy to get a replacement, I showed proof of receipt (I purchased my earphones about 3 months ago), entered information such as name, e-mail and received my replacement earphones. The associate did not even check if my earphones were in working condition or not.. I think the replacement is a refurbished one but I don`t mind. (It did not come with the box, that was my box) So overall, Apple warranties are valid. :)
