The Red Bull Street Style is back in Portugal, with one goal: to find the best freestyler Lusitanian, the king of the rings, the domain of the ball at the tip and magic boots.
In a competition with no age limit, everyone is invited to show their skills. The Portuguese king of the ring will later represent the country at the World Final of Red Bull Street Style, that September 22 will gather in Italy, winners of 60 countries.
Three minutes, two players, one ball
As the football field, hands and arms can not be used to control the ball. The competition runs a scheme where double over a period of three minutes the athletes can showcase their skills (passing the ball to his opponent in every 20/2). In this "battle" - what happens inside a circle of 6 meters - the jury will assess creativity, ball control and style.
The last edition took place in South Africa, where Fabio Simoes, 16, was the Portuguese representative.
The Dutchman Edgar Davids, who was known by the brand image of the glasses he wore on the field, was one of the judges of the last edition, and remains firmly attached to the project, was one of the judges of the last edition, along with the Liberian George Weah.
Would love to see this battle of the ball, and you?
