I seriously need to stop buying nail polish. We all know I have a problem, but I think....I hope this will be my last big nail polish haul until after June. Oh and speaking of June, I bought my ticket for IMATS LA that will be in June. Is anyone else going? I am really excited...it will be my first time going!
This one is pretty big for me...I mean I have never purchased a nail polish for more than $8.50 and I did get quite a few in this haul. Most of these were purchased at different times, but I just decided to go ahead and include them in a haul together. The first one I got was one that I ordered from http://Amazon.com since I had a gift card. I wanted Sweet Hook from China Glaze because because I really wanted a new pastel lilac color. When I finally got it I realized that it was extremely similar to 2 polish from different brands that I already have, but I still love it! This color was also featured in my recent Ombre NOTD.
Next was one from Essie called Play Date from the Go Overboard collection that released in February. I saw this at Target and since I was in the Lilac nail polish mood I decided to get this. This color is not a Lilac color, but it is a fun bright lavender color.
During the time of my Essie and China Glaze purchase, I placed an order on http://Dermstore.com because I had gotten a $25 gift card towards a $50 purchase for the website and I was checking out all the cool brands they had, but of course I decided to go for the nail polish....duhhh!! lol This basically came out to be a little over $50. I have never spent that much at once on nail polish. I ended up paying about $30 or maybe a few dollars left. I really wanted to get some Butter London and Deborah Lippmann polishes. I mostly wanted Trout Pout from Butter London because I thought it was such a pretty Salmon pink shade. I went on Google to check out swatches of other shades I thought I might like and I ended up choosing All Hail The Queen which I am excited to wear because in swatches it reminded me of a taupe/light brown version of OPI`s My Private Jet and I love that color! Ialso wanted to get one of the Deborah Lippmann nail polishes and I could not figure out which one was special enough to get because I know there are a lot of dupes for these. I went with Across the Universe because I thought it was a cool one that I had nothing like and also because I like glitter and blue/teal is my favorite color. The last polish I wanted to add to my cart was Essie`s A Crewed Interest because this one was one of the only colors I liked from the Navigate Her collection and I could not find it anywhere! My order took about 3 weeks to get shipped because Trout Pout and A Crewed Interest were on back order.
I cannot wait to wear the ones i got from http://dermstore.com since I have already worn the first 2 I mentioned.
