PowerColor released some technical specifications of the special version of the Radeon HD 7970.
PowerColor revealed this week new images and details of configuring the Vortex II, a special version Radeon HD 7970. The model will feature a robust refrigeration system, as well as turbine clocks.
The GPU, which has 1100 MHz and 3 GB of memory at 5.7 GHz, the card will perform better, since the conventional version reached the marks of 925 Mhz and 5.5 Ghz. The model also features a super dual slot cooler with two fans, three heatpipes and backplate with different design to withstand the high frequencies of operation.
So far, we know only that the Vortex II hits stores in April, however the final price to the consumer has not yet been revealed. The image above, as well as the other two available in the gallery, show details of the visual VGA.
