¡Q`Viva!: The Chosen premiered last night and I absolutely LOVE this show. Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, and Jamie King (a show director) go all over Latin America in search of talented performers to represent Latin culture in a show in Las Vegas. They watch videos of the performers and if they like what they see they visit them in person to see them audition. I think the negative aspect of going to the performers themselves as oppose to just holding a big audition like American Idol is that it`s much harder to reject them. For instance, one of the drummers had his whole family with him - how are you going to say no to him in front of so many people? It`s not often they say no though because they`ve already "pre-auditioned" the people they`re going to see so they know more or less what to expect.
I love that this show focuses on Latin culture and showing that to the world. I feel like I`m travelling to these places when I watch the show. I also love Jennifer Lopez. She`s just a really fun person and I love her personality. She`s also really pretty and I love her style. I like hearing Jennifer and Marc speak Spanish, but more so Jennifer because hers isn`t as perfect.
I really want to go to Las Vegas to watch the show that gets put together with the "The Chosen".
