So i had the "Turquiose and Caicos" by Essie polish on for like a week now, and it was starting to chip a bit at the top, but i loved the colour so much and didnt have the time to erase it. So i used shatter!
Its been awhile since i used shatter, and i love shatters/crackles for covering up. Its great for covering small chips or cracks in your nails, or if you messed up on the base polish, shatter will just cover it up.
I must say that the OPI ones are the best shatters/crackles out there. They really are good, but they might be more expensive than other brands. You might have seen like China Glaze, Models Own, Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat, and tons of other brands releasing their own crackles, but i think OPI works the best. Great "cracks"/"shatters" and they dry really fast!
Depending how you apply the shatter is the way it is going to look. If you go slowly and steady, your shatters are mostly going to be wide but if you use a little bit of polish and go fast on the nail, the shatter will end up very straight and "liney".
Overall, it is a great polish! And OPI has tons of other colours too, but i think the "Black Shatter" and the "White Shatter" are the must haves, they go well with any colour.
