I am so sorry that i havent been posting, but it is because my laptop broke! I got a virus while doing a post on Luuux, and then it totally just froze and turned off. I had to get it fixed for a couple of days now, and finally it is back! YAY, for posting but it sucks that i only got today to post again!
Anyway, so while in that time i finally decided to do my nails. It have been a week for the magentic nails, but i decided to change it up, and do this "triangle"/"V" manicure. Which was inspried by a photo i saw on Tumblr.
So there is alot of photos, simply because i love this design. It was my first time doing a design like this, so it was really cool and exciting. Sorry for like the 20 photos, haha!
It was actually a really easy design to do. I didnt watch or see a tutorial on it, just the photo, so i am not sure how the orignial owner did it, but this is my idea on how to created these.
First, i used a base coat just in case if the colours stained my nails, if youre wondering i used "Clear" by NYC.
Then i used these triangle/arrow nail stickers, which i got from my KISS Nail Artist Pack, you dont have to use them but they totally help. If youre really good with nail art, you can try this by doing it free hand.
With the sticker on, i placed it closely to the middle (more on the bottom side) and then painted the bottom blue and the top part pink. For the blue, i used "Blue me Away!" by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear, and then for the hot popping pink i used "Lightning" by LA Colors.
Once that was dried, i slowly peeked off the sticker and then waited for 5-10 minutes before applying top coat.
Yes, mine did mess up on the thumn because i didnt wait that long, and the blue kind of smeered up, which sucks because it ruined my whole nail, but oh wells! If youre wondering, i used "Clear" by ELF as the top coat.
And DONE! Hope you guys enjoyed my nails, and i totally think you should try it. I love the colour combo, perfect for spring and summer time, and adds a twist with the 2 colours and the unique way you placed them.
