Natalia Vodianova is a successful Russian model and that recently made the headlines in controversy due to one of her recent statements at a Vogue show where she said that everyone knows skinny is better than fat and that it was the food industry that should be blamed for that, which in part is true because we know the bad quality of foods we found in the stores.
She stands by her statement but im not sure if i agree with her. We all know the dangerous that being over weight can bring, however, being overly skinny can have its dangers also but the thing is that being too skinny is probably not seen in the same way as being over weight is and i think that an over weight person is probably criticized faster than a skinny person ( even though skinny people hear their amount of criticism also).
I think that what is better is not skinny or fat but instead having an active lifestyle with a good diet having a weight that falls in the healthy range, again, with not only good diet but a good fitness plan that people can follow, no matter what someones weight is, so i don`t really believe that skinny is better than fat ( or fat is better than skinny).
Do you share her view or do have a different one?
Do you also believe that what is better is just having a healthy weight and healthy lifestyle, with good diet and exercise?
