I purchased these two drugstore polishes in the last month or so.
Set in Stone was on pricier side (about $8 Canadian, on sale). I really thought I would love this, as its so shiny and fun. I do like it, but I feel like I need to be careful what I pair it with.
On darker shades, it looks really nice. But I find that on lighter shades (such as XOX Betsey), it just looks a bit cheesy and childish.
Asides from that, I find that one coat is enough. On my swatch I only have two layers and that gives enough "sparkle" in my opinion.
Impeccable Greys I had high hopes for as drugstore polishes have really been improving lately (WnW, Revlon, Rimmel etc). In the bottle it looks like a really nice matte grey...and for the most part it is.
On the nails, it turns out darker with two coats. Unfortunately I was not able to get away with only one coat as it was VERY streaky. Plus I find it to be very clumpy (as you can probably tell from the picture).
Its a shame really, because I love the colors this line has, and the packaging. But based on my experience with this one shade, I probably won`t buy more. I only paid about $2 Canadian at Walmart for this, but I think I`ll just stick to the WnW polishes!
