I`m the kind of person that likes almost any kind of movies, but my favorite are the ones that describe realistic situations... This kind of realistic movies are mainly dramas and "Reservation Road" is one of the best dramas that I`ve ever watched.
It tells the story of a normal married couple with two child: a little girl and an 11 years old boy. Someday, the whole family goes to see the boy playing cello on some kind of concert, and when they are returning home, they stop on a gas station and the boy moves away from the car and the family to watch fireflies... From a moment to another, the boy gets hit by a car and dies... The driver that hit the boy runs away.
Obviously, the entire family crashes down. The father of the little boy gets a depressed and can`t focus on the wife and daughter... He only wants to discover who killed his boy, but will he manage to find it before he goes insane? Just watch the movie to know.
It is a great movie, definitely one of the best dramas ever... I can`t even imagine the pain to loose someone that is so close to you from a moment to another.
I give this movie a 9.5 out of 10.
And you? Do you know this movie? What do you think about it? Do you agree with my review?
