As I vegetarian, I do admit there are times when I miss certain foods that I grew up eating. Not that I want to ever eat meat again but sometimes certain food ignites certain memories and I just wish I could eat it:) Things are definitely made a lot easier for vegetarian these days, there are vegan patties, nuggets, bacon, tofurkey and just about anything you can think of that has a meatless substitution. It makes the transition easier for those who wishes to become a vegetarian but not quite ready to give up on meat products.
Chicken rice is perhaps one of the few non-vegetarian meals that I miss because my parents use to buy it for me all the time when I was going to school. Now that I`ve made the decision to go vegetarian, I am glad that there`s a way of eating chicken rice without having to kill a real chicken!:) Here`s a lovely plate of mock chicken rice dish that I absolutely love eating!
