The tv show "The Biggest Loser" is a TV success show that centers around people losing weight, get healthy and trying to get 250.000$ richer.
Every season i remember watching ( they didn`t air all here), there is always a twist on the show that is supposed to change the game and get the contests more competitive and by now its part of the show and expected, but this seasons contestants are not having it.
After being announced a change in the game and that some of the older contestants that had already left would be turning back, the group was not happy and left in the middle of the show while they were shooting that part and are threating to leave the show because that twist in the game is hurting their changes of getting the 250.000$.
I don`t know if they joined the show without watching an episode or what is happening, but this happens everytime and this type of changes in the game are expected, so they should be making such a big deal out of it. Then, and most importantly, they should be there mostly for getting healthy because they are having access to resources ( especially prepared foods, machines, personal trainers, etc) for free and they should take advantage of their time there but unfortunately a lot of the contestants i have seen before are clearly there for the money only, which is sad.
The production is saying that the "strike" of the contestants won`t be affecting the show in terms of episodes and all of that, but i don`t know and im curious to see what it will turn out. They probably have contracts that they need to follow.
What do you think of the whole strike situation? Don`t you think the contestants should be there to get healthy and not only for the money?
