Hey everyone! I have been at the beach this week and I got terribly burnt. I used sunscreen but the sun was just too tough! So after a whole day of being absolutely miserable, I decided to try out an old cure a family member told me of. You will need another person if you`re burnt on your back or somewhere not in reach. I took two tea bags to a gallon pitcher, and boiled it. You can do this in the microwave or on the stove. I dipped a rag (soft or a sponge) and dabbed tea on my sunburn. Continue doing this for a while and you will have almost instant relief, and you can keep your tan! I did mine for about an hour and I was burnt on my back, and shoulders. I preferred it hot but you could just add ice and it would cool you down. I used two lipton (black) tea bags I found in our condo, so anything will work. But I just wanted to share this with you guys! If you`re badly burnt you will need to follow that with some cool aloe, but waiting a whole day to add aloe will make your results better. I hear you arent supposed to put any cooling gel on the day you`re burnt to avoid peeling/skin loss. You could also take a tea bath, just put 4-6 tea bags depending on the size of your tub in your tub of warm water and soak for a while. I hope this helps all you burnt beach babes!
