Quaker Soft Baked Bar: Banana Nut Bread

This is the Quaker Soft Baked Bar in Banana Nut Bread that I received in my Summer Voxbox. It was the first thing I tested out though I`m a little late on the review since I ate it already without realizing to snap a few pics first lol. But I really like it so I bought a box and now this review can commence!

This bar has:
- 5g Fiber
- 20% daily value of 5 B Vitamins
- 6g of Protein

This product can be eaten as is or warm. It says you can pop it in the microwave with the actual plastic bag in it as long as you cut open one of the ends. Hmm, I rather be on the safe side and just put it a small convection oven or toaster but I guess that`s just the paranoia in me to choose not to use the plastic bag. I haven`t tried this hot yet but as is, it is really tasty!

The aroma is on point to what normal banana nut bread would smell like, maybe a little sweeter though, almost caramel-ish to me. As for the taste, I definitely get the banana flavor. It almost looks like a granola bar but doesn`t taste as hard, think consistency of an oatmeal cookie. I also like that the nuts in this are almonds versus the typical pecans one would associate with when it comes to banana nut bread or muffins.

I can definitely see myself purchasing this (ha, already did). It`s a really yummy snack for any of the banana nut lovers out there. It can also serve as quick breakfast as you can simply pop it in the toaster and serve it with some milk. I was able to purchase this at Target. I believe you can also find these at Stater Bros.

Have you guys tried this bar before?
