Recently Read an Article online stating that pets were good for owners due to their health benefits. SAY WAAAHHHH?
My mother had a severe stroke a few years ago and she was lucky enough to survive and get better. Even after getting better my mother is left with severe health problems and they are very difficult to take care of and her medications are very tough on her.
My younger sister ended up one day wanting to foster this very cute puppy that was abused and had to be taken away from the original owner and we ended up with her. We had her for 3 weeks and my mothers health was AMAZING during that time period. She was taken off few of her worst medications and she had so much energy and want for life.
"Pet ownership is good for your health both physically and psychologically," says Connecticut psychologist Herbert Nieburg, author of "Pet Loss: A Thoughtful Guide for Adults and Children" (HarperCollins).
We wanted to adopt her but others were already in line for her. So we let her go and a couple months later we got a SIBERIAN HUSKY - Louis Vuitton (thank my sister for that name lol)
Anyway we love Louie and my mother loves him the most. She is with him 24/7 and he is a part of our family. She tells us that he is the favorite out of me and my siblings lmao.
Now a few more months later we have an adorable pitbull! Her name is Bella!! My mom says even though she is very ugly thats what makes her so cute. hahaha that made me laugh. I love my mom.
So for anybody who is depressed or have health issues, Think about getting a pet (Dogs are the best in my opinion :) to help you make your days brighter!
