Growing up in New York City, the only time my family and I ventured into Brooklyn was to go to Coney Island or visit Brooklyn Botanical Garden. In the last 10-20 years that has really change with the growth of neighborhoods like Park Slope, Williamsburg, and DUMBO as places not only to live but hang out as well.
This Saturday, Park Slope will play host to the Puppetry Arts Festival from 11am to 5pm. It`s free to attend with only a few activities you have to pay for. Besides live performances you can expect "puppet and mask making, face painting, bouncy moon walk, cotton candy, hot dogs and more!"
I have to attend a screening in the morning but if I have time, I`ll definitely like to attend.
Talk the TALK
1) Who was your favorite Muppet/Puppet growing up?
2) Have you ever been to Brooklyn, NY? What`s your favorite neighborhood?
