Pumpkin Cake... oh yes!

I didn`t understand the point of Pinterest for a long time but now I`m hooked and love it! I really like organizing everything under different boards and finding different recipes to try. I promised my boyf that October would be bake month and while I haven`t been able to do it prior to today, today it happened.

We made pumpkin cake! I don`t eat cake but I tried a little bit of this and it tasted great. We had his family over today and they loved it (god bless)! I found the recipe on Pinterest but it`s pretty simple.

You need:

1 box of yellow cake mix
1 small can of Pumpkin Puree (NOT PUMPKIN PIE FILLING)
1 14. oz can of Sweet Condensed Milk
1 small tub of Cool Whip
Caramel Sundae Syrup
Heath Bar

You mix JUST the cake mix (not the ingredients to make the mix, just the mix) and the pumpkin together, put it into a (greased) 9x13 cake tin in a pre-heated oven of 350 for 28-33 minutes. I put ours in for 30 and it was perfect. You then take it out, let it cool for 10 minutes, poke holes into the cake, and pour the sweet condensed milk all over it. Once that`s done you put it in the fridge for 30 minutes (the longer the better but 30 is like the minimum recommended) to cool. Take it out and spread cool whip on the top, crumble up heath bar and add that, then top it off with some caramel, put it in the fridge for 3-4 hours, and then serve!

It seriously is nom status. It`s sweet but the pumpkin balances it out nicely so it`s not TOO much.
