I was organizing my makeup collection this afternoon and found products I should toss for various reasons, many because I`ve had them for a while. This is why I shouldn`t have too many products opened at once. Products range from drugstore to higher end.
Joe Fresh powder and cream blushes have good colour payoff but the colours weren`t what I expected. Plus I`ve had them for some time now so I think it`s time for them to be tossed.
Wet N` Wild Brow & Eye liners are good for brows but I haven`t tried them as eyeliners. The single eyeshadow is comparable to higher end ones. It`s buttery soft with great colour payoff. Definitely one of the better drugstore brand eyeshadows that I`ve tried. I`ve also had these for a while.
Annabelle concealer quad and eyeliner are both great. I didn`t have high expectations for the concealer quad but the textures for each is different so they can be used under the eyes, cover acne, etc. The eyeliner also surprised me. It`s very pigmented and applied smoothly, comparable to my MUFE Aqua Eyes.
Essence lip liner, brow liner, and single eyeshadow are good products for their prices. I haven`t tried lip liners from other brands so I can`t compare. I haven`t tried many brow products either but this was good. It was waxy so it applied to the hairs nicely and kept them in place. It also looks natural. The single eyeshadow is smooth and pigmented but when applied with the finger it left a layer of oil that ruined the product.
These Cover Girl eyeshadows were a disappointment. The colours look pretty in the pan but the quality isn`t good and there`s not much colour payoff. I`m tossing these out since I will not use them.
Rimmel London Lip Vinyl in 330 Snog. The colour is very similar to Revlon Pink Truffle Lip Butter. It`s a my-lip-but-better which is my favourite shade. I`ve had this for some time now so I should toss it out, especially since the applicator goes back into the product after use.
Benefit Some Kind-a Gorgeous and Hello Flawless foundations are travel size, one came in one of the Benefit sets I purchased months ago. I`ve only swatched these foundations but I noticed they don`t match my skintone. Also, Some Kind-a Gorgeous smells like crayons. But I do want to try Hello Flawless again if I can find a shade that matches.
I tried Stila Tinted Moisturizer once but it didn`t match my skintone.
Sephora tinted moisturizer didn`t match either, but I use foundation more than tinted moisturizers.
Etude House Dual Change eyeliner is not the most pigmented but the colour is buildable. It dries in seconds and once set it`s smudge proof. I thought it was interesting because I haven`t tried a tattoo eyeliner before, but I didn`t like the tattoo effect it left behind.
Crown Brush palette was a waste of money because majority of the colours are poor quality. They`re chalky, have no colour payoff, or both. There was two colours in the palette that I liked, but I have similar ones in my collection so I`m tossing this.
