Hi everyone! This was a little snack I made almost TWO years ago and never got around to posting about it even though I had taken pictures for it. These are potato samosas which I was inspired to make because a high school friend`s mom used to make them and give some to me and my family. The recipe is fairly simple and I didn`t have to follow any written recipe - just sort of winged it.
What you`ll need: - potatoes and other vegetables you`d like to put in (example: carrots, peas) - Chinese five spice (if you can`t find five spice just buy the individual spices needed, just look at a recipe for potato samosas) - Wonton wrappers or phyllo dough - Egg
Directions: - Prepare your vegetables and dice them (I only used potatoes in mine so I just boiled them until soft and diced them very small, you can mash them as well for a very smooth filling) - Add Chinese five spice to taste - Fill your wrappers with the filling - Fold into triangles and brush the tops with a beaten egg wash - Fry samosas until golden brown (I used phyllo dough and baked this particular batch but the bottoms did not look like the tops which is why I recommend frying) This are super easy to make and really tasty. These never last more than two days in my house. Thanks for reading! All images and content are my own.
