Do you love eating home cooked meal such as adobo, (a Filipino favorite) but not have enough time to do it? If so, then keep reading.. :)
First you will need:
Laurel leaves: can be found in any Asian or Hispanic grocery
pork or chicken or both
Mama Sita`s adobo mix
1 cup water
2 tbsp cooking oil
4-5 hard boiled eggs (optional)
First you will need to cut the meat in serving pieces, and marinate the meat for 15 mins or so. When you`re ready to start cooking, heat the pan and cooking oil pan fry the meat till it turns golden brown.
Pour the marinade and bring to a boil. You may add the hard boiled egg at this time and stir occasionally. let it simmer for 10 to 15 mins and done! Make sure you put your rice to cook while you cook the adobo so they`ll be done at the same time and you`ll be enjoying a nice warm meal in no time.
If you have other ways of cooking adobo, or if you add something else to personalize your dish, please do tell!! I would love to try and who knows... I might like it better :D
