Polka Dot Mani Part II
I showed you all my polka dot nails a few days ago where I had painted my nails with China Glaze`s For Audrey, and used a dotting tool to create random dots with Essie`s Under Where?
You can see my original mani here: http://www.luuux.com/beauty/pastel-polka-dot-mani
Well I wore it for a few days before it inevitably started chipping. I don`t know if you guys have a similar situation where some of your nails are more prone to chipping that others? My pointer fingers are always the first to chip, followed by my middle finger, and my thumb. My pinkie almost never chips, and my ring finger can stay intact fairly well too.
That is exactly what happened on both my hands in this situation. I like trying to `rescue` my manicure so I can get a few more days of wear. In this case, I didn`t have to redo my ring and pinkie fingers since they were as good as new. I ended up removing the polish on my thumb, pointer and middle fingers with the intention of just redoing them the same way, but just as I was about to start, I got the idea to paint these nails with Under Where and use For Audrey to create the dots (basically the inverse of the other nails!).
It creates a cool look when you look at my nails and it`s unique without being too obvious. I actually prefer this version to my original mani lol.
My sister says my nails remind her of Easter Eggs which is hilarious considering it`s fall, but I kinda see her point. Maybe I`ll redo my nails like this for Easter? Lol
What do you guys think of my nails?
