I`ve been trying to use up the miso in my fridge. Miso is a fermented soybean paste; it tastes better than it sounds, promise! Anyway I found a recipe for Poached Egg with Aspargus & Miso and had to try it. I never made a poached egg before, it looked kind of ugly lol. I roasted the asparagus with salt, pepper and oil. I just added a little bit of miso to the plate, placed asparagus on top and placed the egg on top.
