I overheard some of my coworkers talking about this today, so I had to Google it. I saw it, was baffled, took a photo of my screen with my phone and posted it on Instagram.
Pizza Hut in the UK took a bold new step and introduced its new line: hot dog stuffed crust pizza with OPTIONAL mustard drizzle (gag!!!!!). I love pizza and I love hot dogs, but I`m not so sure I`d want the two mixed together, especially not with mustard on it. Pizza crust is my absolute favorite part of the pizza and a hot dog in it would kind of ruin it for me. Now don`t get me wrong I love pigs in a blanket, but pizza is pizza, no mixing of the two.
This pizza is only being offered in the UK and according to a spokesperson for the chain, it will NOT be available in the US. So, I guess, if you live in the US and this appeals to you, you have to hop on a plane and take a long flight to enjoy a slice of this bad boy. What`s funny about this is the fact that the caloric content for a serving size is not offered on the companies website, but its instead broken down into "pizza" and "hot dog crust". I`m sure it`s done that way to keep the attention off the ridiculous grams of fat and sodium?
Would you ever try a pizza like this?
