This retina burning polish is Coral Cabana from Pixi. I believe this is part of a collection of new colors they have put out. You can get Pixi polishes, conveniently, at Target for $8.00. These bottles contain 0.25 fl oz of product, which is half of the typical polish (coming in at 0.5 fl oz). This could be a pro or a con. You are paying about the same amount as you would for, say, OPI or Essie, yet are getting half of the product. Some would argue that they`ll never finish a whole bottle anyway, so they don`t mind less polish. Others would like to see more in the bottle, despite finishing it out. That is a personal preference. Coral Cabana is a neon coral that leans neither too pink, nor too orange. For me, it comes off as a peachy coral. A lot of neon polishes dry to a matte finish. This one retains a bit of shine. It wasn`t enough for my liking, though, so I did top it with a high gloss top coat (Seche Vite is my top coat of choice). The brush with this polish is the standard, traditional kind. Meaning, it doesn`t have one of the newer style paddle or pro-wide brushes. I have said it a million times, but I do prefer a paddle style brush. However, if you have thinner nail beds, you may enjoy that you don`t have a fat brush to work with. It did splay out nicely, though, so it wasn`t an issue for me during application. I did notice while brushing this on that I needed to work a bit faster than I would with other polishes. It starts to thicken and dry a bit within seconds. You need to be willing to work a touch faster to get this onto the nails in order to get a clean, smooth application. Over all, though, it wasn`t bad. (Please forgive the sickly coloring to my skin in the photos. I had to adjust the photos a bit to get the color of the polish as close to being accurate as possible. In the process, it gave my skin a green tinge)
