Do you go out with friends and spend more time checking your phone messages and every other alert than actually spend time with your friends? This game has been created to eliminate all the distractions during some time out to dinner with friends. Nowadays, everyone seems to forget their phone manners, and are actually very rude.
Everyone puts their cell phones face down in the center of the table. You can put them in a stack if you want or just in the middle of the table. As the dinner goes on, you will probably hear some phone calls, alerts, text messages. The first person to check their cell phone has to pay the bill.
I think this is a clever idea to have the focus on what you are actually doing in the present time rather than talk with someone else, or be preoccupied by work things.
And let`s face it, who wants to pay the tab? I have never heard of this game have you? Sounds like a good idea, but I doubt any of my friends would be willing to actually foot the bill. Would you try this?
