I know it`s been a long time since my last post. But I`m back and I have a few things to do reviews on! First I`m going to start with the Philosophy: Microdelivery Triple-Acid Brightening Peel. I have acne scars from my teen years and from my ongoing battle with Acne as an adult. So I decided to purchase this peel because I wanted something gentle enough to use that wouldn`t involve a long healing process.
What it comes with: 12 Pre-satured chemical peel pads
How it works: Each pad is quite big so I usually cut it in half and save the other half for later. This ends up saving you more money because you`re getting more pads out of one box! I use the pads before bed. I wash my face and make sure that all of the make up has been cleaned off, then I follow up with the pads. I wipe the chemical pad all over my face and leave it on overnight. In the morning I just wash my face with my regular cleanser and continue with my regular toner and moisturizer. I use the pads once a week, sometimes I use it twice a week if my skin needs extra work. These pads are super gentle, but I still advise caution for extremely sensitive skin. (If your skin is super sensitive I advise you to just leave the peel on for 5 mins then rinse it off)
Results: After 5 uses, I noticed that my skin feels a lot softer. It has helped clear up my acne. I also noticed that my skin was lighter! So it definitely brightened my skin. I still have the acne scars, which was the one thing that dissappointed me. It is a gentle peel so you can`t expect this to drastically change your skin. But I am happy with my overall results. I definitely would purchase this package again. Now that the sun is coming out more, I`m not using the peels as much, just because I don`t want to make my skin to sensitive to the sun. Just remember to wear sunblock while using this product!! I definitely recommend this product if you feel like your skin is dull and needs a pick me up!
