I was so glad I got to snag one of these when I could. I remember stalking the Target twitter the night of the launch and items were flying off the shelves as they were released on the website. I`ve had the bag for a few months now so a detailed review is in order.
The bag had cost $54.99. Its made of faux leather material which I have a feeling is the cause of some of this winter static shocks I`ve been feeling. Its a relatively well made bag. I am looking at this bag for the fact that it`s $54.99 and not because of the Phillip Lim label on it. It is a bit heavy compared to my other bags, but with it being able to keep its shape and the material its made from, its understandable.
One thing I noticed with my bag and few of their other bags, it was a pretty sloppy job on their part when they were doing the piping of the bag. For those that don`t know, the piping is the edges of the bag that`s covered with a plastic. I noticed with this bag as well as the other bags I got from this collection, there was piping material on the bag itself. This bag is black so its not very noticeable, but if you look in certain spots, you can tell someone didn`t care very much when doing it. Also, the piping on the handles have already cracked, causing the straps/handles to bend backwards.
Overall, I can`t really complain because its a pretty good bag for its price.
Did any of you guys get your hands on anything from the Phillip Lim for Target collection?
