After many fail attempts at making basil pesto, I come to find out my sister makes her pesto with peas! No wonder when I tried to recreate her `Pea` Pesto all the times before is because I used basil (although you can still use basil but it just didn`t taste the same like hers and now I know why!). My sister made Peso Pesto Crostini last night at her early Christmas party as one of the three appetizers. And guess what? Excluding bread, this recipe for the pea pesto only calls out for 6 ingredients! You will need peas, garlic, grated parmesan, salt, fresh ground black pepper, olive oil and of course a food processor.
